We have been contacted by Onward Homes about an exciting community gardening project on Hudson Street, Avenham (near St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School Preston).
There used to be a lovely community garden there, run by local residents. Sadly, it has now become overgrown and needs care and attention.
We have accepted the challenge! This means we will be working to:
- replace raised beds
- clear weeds
- cut back shrubs
- improve the paving
- plant what we want and need
We would love for local residents and groups to get involved.
This is a chance for the community to shape the space and benefit from it 🌱
♿ The space will be accessible, including for wheelchair users.
This is a lovely opportunity for families, elders, young people and anyone who enjoys gardening or fresh air to get involved.
